Enrolling in Fitz Ritson Securities and Portfolio Management course wasn’t “business as usual” and I am happy it wasn’t.
From my first class it was highlighted that this was a professional course and as such each student would be expected to think beyond the surface of the theory that was taught. There was a lot of emphasis on applying what was learnt to what was transpiring within the Investment landscape. This approach assisted me in developing my critical thinking. The programme was extensive and emphasized active participation in ALL sessions. We received well thought out and relevant assignments pertaining to each topic which I found were not dissimilar from task I was later exposed to in the work place. I was very appreciative of the fact that Karen and her team were available 24/7 to answer questions and to give guidance where necessary. As a young profession I can easily attest to the fact that programme helped in my personal development and was well worth the time and effort associated with it.
